Are you an ambitious and visionary Humanities specialist looking for the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced middle leader or current Head of Department ready to lead a dynamic team across History, Geography, and Religious Education. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the Humanities faculty, driving excellence in teaching and learning, and ensuring outstanding outcomes for students across all key stages. The ability to teach either Religious Studies or Geography to GCSE is essential, and to A Level is desirable.

The Role:
As Director of Learning for Humanities, you will:
Lead and inspire a team of passionate subject specialists.
Have the ability to teach either Religious Studies or Geography to GCSE. (To A Level would be desirable, but isn't pivotal to the role)
Oversee curriculum development, assessment strategies, and quality assurance across the Humanities faculty.
Drive improvements in teaching and learning, promoting consistently high standards.
Work as part of the wider leadership team to support whole-school initiatives.

A qualified teacher with a strong track record of success in Humanities education.
Proven experience in leadership - as a Head of Department, Second in Faculty, or equivalent.
A strategic thinker with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
A commitment to inclusive education and a passion for inspiring young people.
