Job Description

Our client Our client are a top facades contractor who work UK wide on flagship construction projects. Purpose of the Job This person/position is responsible for organising a range of administrative activities that assist the Construction Administrator to facilitate the smooth running of the commercial department. They will be required to carry out a range of administrative, commercial and IT-related tasks, depending on the organisation’s day to day needs. They would need a good level of administrative experience with a proven track record of meeting consistently high standards of administration, IT and general office support. Key Tasks 1. Set up new IT/phone equipment for site and office users 2. Maintain the asset database and ownership of equipment 3. Apply for Warranties and maintain records 4. Convert information from project teams into user-friendly documents/reports 5. Scan, copy and distribute documents to project team members and clients 6. Review and track documents to maintain latest revisions for accuracy 7. Liaise with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements 8. Assist in the monitoring of quality control systems such as Field View 9. Use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases 10. Attending meetings and conferences when required 11. Complete timesheets, expense claims, purchase orders, and other company documents and procedures on time 12. Understand your personal development plan and achieve the goals agreed at appraisal so as to progress in terms of competence and client satisfaction 13. General administrative duties Additional Tasks 1. Liaising with clients, suppliers, staff and external contacts 2. Answering and screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests and handling them when appropriate 3. Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority 4. Any other activities/duties requested by Management Working Relationships and Contacts * Staff; colleagues, main contractors, sub-contractors- multiple contacts daily * Directors, Regional Directors and Senior Management * Suppliers, Customers – multiple contacts daily Working Environment You will be working from the main office based in Baildon, Bradford however you may be required from time to time to attend training or meetings or visit Sites for support. This could be locally although you must be prepared to travel nationwide.
