Job Advert: Domestic Abuse Education Lead – Birmingham  Position: Domestic Abuse Education Lead Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover) Location: Birmingham Pay Rate: PAYE £17.53 | Umbrella £22.68 Working Hours: Full Time Service Care Solutions are supporting Birmingham Children’s Trust in the recruitment of a Domestic Abuse Education Lead, responsible for overseeing the smooth delivery of Operation Encompass and related domestic abuse support services across educational settings. About the Role: This is a vital opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children affected by domestic abuse. You will lead the education safeguarding response, ensure alerts are sent out in a timely manner, and support schools to provide effective interventions. Key Responsibilities: Lead delivery of Operation Encompass and support safeguarding responses within education settings. Liaise with police and multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated responses. Offer risk assessment advice and safety planning guidance to education professionals. Deliver briefings, training, and awareness campaigns across Birmingham education settings. Monitor and evaluate the impact of domestic abuse programmes and interventions. Provide updates and reports to steering groups and attend key safeguarding meetings.Requirements: Experience working in a domestic abuse-focused role (essential). Proven ability to advise on risk and safety planning. Confidence in engaging with schools, professionals, and multi-agency teams. Strong organisational and communication skills.
