The Company:
Our client has a strong reputation across a wide range of construction, engineering and environmental related fields. They offer a comprehensive range of high-quality services to the water and utilities sector for customers who are experiencing issues with their drainage and water supply, such as leaking pipes or poor water pressure, or if customers needing new pipe work installed due to an extension or new property. Due to recent expansion, the company are currently looking for a 2-person Drain Repair (Groundworks) Team working across the Home Counties.
The role:
The successful candidates will be working in a two-person team and will be responsible for carrying out installation, repair and maintenance work including groundworks; excavations, drain lining, pipework repairs and reinstatements. Most jobs will be within daily travelling distance, however on occasion, you may be required to work further afield, with lodging and subsistence allowances provided.
The Ideal Candidate:
To be considered for this role you must have:
* Previous groundworks experience including excavation and reinstatement experience.
* Lining (patch lining and full drain lining)
* Drainage experience with high pressure jetting and basic CCTV surveys would be ideal
* NRSWA Streetworks card – highly desirable
* EUSR – Water Hygiene card – highly desirable
* First aid trained would be desirable but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence - essential for one team member.
The Rewards:
The rewards for the successful candidate are good. The company are willing to pay an initial salary of around £30,000 - £40,000 for the team leader / Ganger and a competitive salary to the second person / Labourer. The company would consider applicants on a permanent basis. In addition to the basic hourly rate, travel time is paid from door to door, overtime is paid and there are additional incentives for out of hours and shift workBefore You Apply
