Drainage Engineer
Location: Kent / Sussex area
Are you an experienced Drainage Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We’re recruiting now for a permanent role with immediate start for the right candidate, covering the Sussex and Kent regions.
Join a well-established company specialising in drainage solutions across commercial and industrial sites, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance. If you’ve got experience in jetting, CCTV surveys, and Picote machines – we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal and external drainage investigations using High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) and Picote machines
Carry out CCTV push rod surveys, identifying defects and assessing pipe condition and structural integrity
Trace and investigate underground drainage systems on commercial and industrial sites
Provide emergency reactive call-out cover when required
Deliver high-quality maintenance and repair solutions above and below ground
What We’re Looking For:
Previous drainage experience including jetting and CCTV survey work
Experience using Picote equipment (descaling and cleaning)
Strong understanding of drainage systems and fault diagnosis
Ideally hold HPWJ certification, Confined Space, and Chapter 8 (training can be provided)
OS19X qualification and experience coding is desirable however training can be provided.
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and overtime
Working Hours:
Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 5 pm
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive Salary: Circa £39,000 pa, depending on experience and qualifications.
