Drama ECT   Are you a passionate Drama ECT looking to start your teaching career in a creative and supportive school this September?   Key Details • Job Title: Drama ECT • Pay: Main Pay Scale – £31,650 • Duration: Permanent – September 2025 start • School Type & Location: ‘Good’ secondary school, Ward of Northfield • Key Duties: Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, plan and deliver engaging practical and theory lessons, assess pupil progress, and contribute to the wider school community.   The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a Drama ECT to join a vibrant and creative department with a history of nurturing early career teachers. You will teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to explore performance, develop confidence, and express themselves. The department is well-resourced and fosters a collaborative teaching culture.   The Candidate The school is seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative Drama ECT who is eager to make a difference in the classroom and on stage. You should bring strong subject knowledge, a student-centred approach, and a willingness to contribute to the school’s wider performance calendar and enrichment opportunities.   The School Located in the Ward of Northfield, this ‘Good’ secondary school has a strong focus on creativity, student well-being, and teacher development. The Drama department is supportive, dynamic, and known for successfully mentoring ECTs.
