Drama Teacher | Southampton, Hampshire
Prospero Teaching is seeking a creative and dedicated Drama Teacher for a Good-rated (Ofsted) secondary school located in Southampton, Hampshire.
This well-established, mainstream secondary school fosters a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. The Drama department is well-resourced and encourages imaginative teaching. The school offers ongoing CPD and values professional development across the year. While the school includes a sixth form, this role will focus mainly on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 drama.
Role Details:
Position: Drama Teacher
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Start Date: 3rd September 2025
Duration: 1-Year Fixed Term (with the potential for extension or a permanent role)
Contract Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 8:30 AM 4:00 PM, plus attendance at parents' evenings
Pay: From £162.31 per dayCandidate Requirements:
Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 1 year of Drama teaching experience in the UK
Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training (completed within the last 12 monthsCompliance:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service or willing to apply)
