Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Drama in a school located in Waltham Forest?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our client, a highly regarded secondary school for girls in Tower Hamlets, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time position teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, and is suitable for both Experienced Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Job Role Requirements:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Drama lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with national curriculum standards
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular performing arts activities
Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and academic achievement
Qualifications & Person Specification:
Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
A relevant degree in Drama or a related field
Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
Ability to differentiate lessons and support pupils of all abilities
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
