Job Description
Inspire Resourcing are hiring on behalf of a well-established client based in Sheffield, This is a great opportunity for someone who has a desire to grow and develop a career during a period of growth and development.
Purpose of Role
* To provide high quality training and assessments in line with DVSA test standards.

Key Responsibilities
* To provide high-quality practical training to learners, ensuring they meet the required DVSA test standards for safe and efficient operation of vehicles.
* To carry out driver assessments in line with DVSA standardised processes, to evaluate skills and identify areas of development
* Provide objective and fair assessments of driving competence
* To deliver classroom courses, including Driver CPC and in-house courses as required.
* To support learners with theory preparation.
* To travel to corporate clients to carry out driver risk assessments in line with their requirements.
* To ensure all training is carried out complies with relevant legislation and industry standards
* Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices
* Maintain accurate records of training progress and assessments
Essential Skills and requirements
* Experience in vocational driver trainer HGV and PCV
* Proficient in driver checks and reporting procedures
* Strong teaching and coaching skills
* Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road signs and driving regulations (The Highway Code)
* Flexible who works hours including early starts and late finishes
Hours Expected
40 hours Monday to Friday
