Our Outstanding school in Barking, London, is seeking a dedicated and imaginative Full-Time Design Technology Teacher to join our successful Technology department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise and passion for design and making while enjoying the benefits of a full-time position in a supportive and high-achieving environment within the Barking community.
In this full-time role, you will:
* Teach Dynamic DT Lessons: Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially 5, in our Barking school.
* Foster Design Thinking and Problem-Solving: Encourage students to develop their design thinking skills and apply them to solve practical problems relevant to the Barking context.
* Contribute to the School's Technological Programme: Support and potentially lead DT-related extracurricular activities and projects.
* Work as Part of a Collaborative Team: Be an active and valued member of our Technology department in Barking.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Design Technology teacher with experience teaching across the secondary age range and a commitment to fostering a love of design and making in young people in the Barking area, including experience with CAD/CAM.
