As a Dual Fuel Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining smart gas and electric meters in homes and businesses.
This is more than just an installation role — you’ll be mentoring junior engineers, championing best practice, and helping to create a safer, smarter future for energy.
Our client actively supports and encourages professional development including internal and external accredited courses, upskilling (get qualified for new technologies), study support and E-Learning and internal promotion.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and maintain smart gas and electric meters
* Carry out communication testing on metering and logger devices
* Manage your van stock and equipment to company standards
* Work safely and in compliance with all procedures and HSE regulations
* Support junior engineers with best practice and technical excellence
What We’re Looking For:
* CMA1/CCN1, REGT1, MET1 and MET2 certifications
* Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel/Power) or proof of electrical competence
* Previous experience in Dual Fuel Smart Metering
* A full, clean UK driving licence
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Technical confidence and a proactive attitude
