The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Careers Teacher to join an ‘Outstanding’ two-form entry primary school in Selly Oak. The role will involve teaching either a Year 3 or Year 4 class, depending on your preference and strengths. You will plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons and work closely with your parallel teacher to share ideas, resources, and best practices. The school has a warm, community-focused ethos and a leadership team that actively supports the development of new teachers.
The Candidate
The school is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic ECT who is eager to make a strong start to their teaching career. You should have:
QTS or be on track to achieve it by September 2025
A passion for primary education and a child-centred approach
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A team mindset and openness to learning from experienced colleagues
