Early Help Family Support Worker
Duration: Initially 3 months
Hours: 35 hours per week
Rate: £28 umbrella an hour (£21 PAYE an hour)
Lewisham Council are looking for an Early Help Coordinator to join their MASH Team. This role is a non-case holding role.
Responsibilities:
Provide training and scaffolding support to professionals across the partnership.
To develop, facilitate and coordinate working relationships and partnerships with a range of front-line staff and managers
Coordinate multi agency support across services to meet the needs of vulnerable children, young people and families by providing information advice and guidance to professionals
Use negotiating and influencing skills to identify and enable different agencies to undertake lead professional responsibilities
Undertake reviews of FARPs to ensure that progress is occurring to plan and timescales
Deliver and design training and support to local practitioners
Requirements:
An understanding of the spectrum of early help services and be able to guide/match the family to appropriate services based on information presented by referrer/family
Experience working as a Family Practitioner within an early help service
NVQ level 4 gained in a setting associated with children or young people and families or substantial professional experience
