TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a lovely private day nursery located in Leeds LS28. The nursery cares for children from 0 – 5 years of age, with different rooms set up to support the different ages of the children within the nursery, with different activities set up to support their different developmental needs. The nursery also provides targeted support to children where needed, with children who speak English as an additional language benefit from additional support as they settle into the nursery.
The nursery is currently searching for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their growing team. The position is long-term, with the opportunity to become permanent for the perfect Early Years Practitioner. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working with young children, and will have a good knowledge of the EYFS. The successful Early Years Practitioner will join the team in providing an exceptional level of care and support for the children within the nursery, helping to create activities that support the different areas of the children’s development and providing additional support when needed.
The successful Early Years Practitioner will:
Hold a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or above
Have a good knowledge of current Safeguarding & Child Protection laws & policies
Be eager to join a friendly & welcoming team!
