Job Opportunity: Early Years Teacher | Watford | May Half-Term / September Start | Paid to Scale Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Teacher looking to inspire young learners at the beginning of their educational journey? Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated EYFS teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Watford. This is a full-time role, starting after the May half-term or in September, ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a warm, inclusive classroom. The school places emphasis on curiosity, creativity, and building a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Role & Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons within the EYFS framework. Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports each child’s individual growth. Plan and assess learning activities in line with EYFS curriculum goals and learning outcomes. Monitor and record pupils’ progress, providing feedback to parents and carers. Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure consistency in care and learning. Collaborate with teaching assistants and other early years staff to deliver a cohesive, child-centered approach. Promote social, emotional, and behavioural development through play-based learning and positive reinforcement. ✅ The Ideal Candidate Will: Be a qualified teacher with QTS and experience in Early Years education. Demonstrate a passion for early childhood learning and child development. Be confident in implementing the EYFS framework and planning engaging lessons. Foster a positive classroom culture that celebrates each child’s unique abilities. Communicate effectively with both adults and children. Be proactive, organised, and flexible in meeting classroom and school needs. Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check.
