Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Craft Team Member Location: Corby (NN17) Salary: £36,779 - £37,586 (£31,982 basic plus 15% shift allowance, rising to £32,684 plus 15% shift allowance on successful completion of the probation period) Hours: 3 Shift pattern (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights) Permanent Start: ASAP EC&I Partners are looking for a skilled Electrical Craft Team Member to join our clients team and play a key role in keeping their plant running safely and efficiently. Working as part of a multi-skilled electrical team, you'll take on a mix of preventative maintenance and reactive fault-finding in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your daily tasks will include: Conducting planned and reactive maintenance across the plant to minimise downtime. Working with relay control circuits, AC and DC motors, and different types of drives. Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults to keep production running efficiently. Performing basic PLC fault-finding on Siemens S7 300, 1200, and 1500 PLCs. Interpreting electrical drawings and working with computerised maintenance management systems (MMS). Identifying and implementing improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and performance. What You Will Need Apprentice-trained or hold a Level 3 qualification such as BTEC, City & Guilds, or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering Heavy industrial experience Experience with low voltage systems, drives, and PLCs. Competence in electrical fault-finding and root cause failure analysis. Familiarity with SAP PM or similar maintenance management systems. 18th Edition qualification or basic mechanical knowledge (desirable). This role follows a rotating shift pattern of days, lates, and nights (Monday to Friday), so you'll need to be comfortable working different shifts.
