Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer – Aviation Industry
Location: Nailsworth, Stroud
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake design work based on contract specifications.
*
Produce accurate technical drawings using 3D AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
*
Modify and update existing designs where necessary.
*
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales teams.
*
Lead a small team of electricians.
*
Conduct electrical and pneumatic design work.
*
Involvement in mechanical design and equipment testing.
*
Ensure quality assurance (QA) processes are followed.
*
PLC programming (training provided).
Key Skills & Experience:
*
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
*
Experience in mechanical or electrical design, or as a junior engineer/graduate.
*
Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
*
Knowledge of electronics and PLCs is advantageous (training available for PLC programming)Before You Apply
