Electrical Draughtsperson | £40,000 - £50,000 | Bath (Hybrid) | Automotive Technology Are you an experienced Electrical Draughtsperson ready to contribute to the next generation of automotive innovation? Join a forward-thinking automotive technology company based near Bath, where your work will directly support a flagship new product development (NPD) project. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with a highly skilled Electrical and Electronic Design team, bringing real-world designs to life while working on complex cable harness systems and testing interfaces. This will be a hybrid role, spending 3 days on-site. What will you be doing: Translating in-house electrical harness drawings into professional, industry-aligned formats. Designing and building interface wiring solutions to support testing processes using advanced cable testers. Supporting the development of prototypes through to production-ready documentation. Contributing to the evolution of engineering standards and design best practices within the team.What are we looking for: A confident electrical draughtsperson with experience in electrical design and draughting (HND or equivalent experience). Strong proficiency in AutoCAD LT or similar electrical CAD tools. A solid understanding of cable harnesses, wire routing, and test interfaces. Experience working within or transitioning to industry standards (IPC-620 knowledge is great, but we value practical skills just as much).
