Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic and experienced team. This role offers the opportunity to work on in-house design and panel building as well as on-site servicing for advanced machinery in industries such as FMCG, Pharma, and Packaging. With a flexible and supportive work environment, this position is ideal for someone seeking autonomy and varied work to stimulate their engineering mind.
Job Responsibilities
* Design and build electrical panels using DraftSight/SolidEdge Electrical software
* Carry out in-house mechanical and electrical servicing and panel-making tasks
* Travel to client sites for installations, servicing, and occasionally breakdown resolution
* Cabinet builds, machine wiring, and testing equipment such as motors and drives
* Occasionally perform PCB soldering, cable manufacturing, and programming
* Work alongside the engineering team to ensure systems are built and tested to the highest standards
Skill Required
* Minimum 17th Edition and/or 18th Edition Electrical qualification
* Knowledge of linear and rotary motors is advantageous
* Ideally proficient in DraftSight or SolidEdge Electrical for design (or willing to learn)
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Compensation & Other Benefits
* £30,000 to £45,000 (dependant on experience)
* 25 Days Holiday plus Christmas Shutdown and Bank Holidays
* Expenses Paid Travel, In House Training, and Flexible Working/Hybrid availability
