Electrical Engineer – Security & Fire Alarm Installations (1–3 yrs exp.)
| Full‑time | Competitive pay + van + pension | NW travel
Join a BAFE‑ and SSAIB‑certified specialist that safeguards buildings with forward‑thinking electronic security: fire detection, intruder alarms, CCTV/VSS, access control and energy‑smart tech.
The job
*
Install, terminate and commission open‑protocol fire‑alarm (Gent, addressable, conventional, wireless), intruder, CCTV/VSS and access‑control systems to BS 5839‑1, BS EN 50131 & NSI Gold standards.
*
Test, fault‑find and hand‑over systems; link sites to our 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre for police/fire response.
*
Keep digital RAMS, drawings and certificates current; travel to sites with a company van.
You bring
*
1–3 years’ site experience on security or fire‑alarm installs.
*
C&G 2365 / NVQ 3 (or equivalent) and ECS/CSCS card.
*
Confidence with Gent‑compatible addressable systems, IP‑based CCTV and door entry.
*
Full UK driving licence; good communication; safety‑first mindset.
