We’re looking for experienced Electrical Engineers at Mid–Senior and Senior levels to join our growing team in Ulverston, on the edge of the Lake District. You’ll be delivering high-impact projects across renewables, energy storage, utilities, nuclear, defence, and advanced manufacturing – from design through to commissioning.

* Salary: Senior Level £60,000–£70,000 (up to £75,000 for exceptional candidates) / Mid-Senior Level £50,000–£60,000

What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing and specifying LV to 132 kV power systems
* Developing protection, control, SCADA and interface designs
* Conducting or reviewing power system studies (load flow, fault level, protection coordination)
* Leading and managing delivery from concept to commissioning
* Collaborating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
* Reviewing technical work and mentoring junior engineers
* Ensuring compliance with industry standards, including BS7671, CDM, and project-specific specifications
* Supporting testing, commissioning, and successful system integration
What We’re Looking For
* Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in regulated or safety-critical sectors
* Strong foundation in electrical design and delivery (LV/HV/EHV)
* Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Amtech, ETAP or similar
* Understanding of industry standards and DNO/IDNO/TO specifications
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (or actively working toward it)
* For Senior applicants: experience leading projects and taking full technical responsibility; HV switching/SAP experience a bonusBefore You Apply
