Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Fitter based in Bedford to join our client's on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the Electrical Fitter role
Salary: £17.44 per hour
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Temp to perm
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm, Fridays 7:00am - 2:30pm
Responsibilities of the Electrical Fitter
* Assemble and fit components as per Bills of Materials, drawings and specifications.
* Build development and continuous improvement feedback.
* Ensure assembly documentation is completed.
* Conduct calibration, service and repair works.
* Conduct component-level fault finding.
* Maintain KPI to measure performance and demonstrate.
Requirements for a successful Electrical Fitter
* NVQ City and Guilds in Electrical Engineering/Assembly
* Previous experience within an electrical assembly/workshop fitter role.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Accurate with attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
