Job Description
We are currently on the lookout for Electrical Installation Engineers for our client based in Wiltshire. the role will be mobile, covering the Wiltshire and surrounding areas.
Salary - £35,000 - £42,000p/a DOE
Hours - Monday to Friday. 40 hour working week.
Role:
* Installing, servicing, upgrading, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
* Ensuring compliance with national electrical safety standards and regulations.
* Interpreting plans, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation guides to complete projects.
* Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in commercial and residential systems, including fault diagnosis, rewiring, testing, and monitoring.
* Evaluating and sourcing necessary parts, completing work orders, and documenting materials used.
* Identifying and addressing electrical issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
* Delivering high-quality workmanship that meets company standards, adheres to building codes, and follows safety regulations.
Requirements:
* City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent electrical certifications (JIB/ECS Gold Card).
* City & Guilds Inspection and Testing Certificate (2391) is preferred.
* Strong understanding of IEE Regulations, ideally 18th Edition.
* Familiarity with NICEIC standards and requirements.
* Previous experience as an Electrician or Electrical Improver.
* Numerically adept with strong attention to detail.
* Friendly, approachable, and adaptable, with excellent customer service skills.
* Track record of delivering successful outcomes.
* Understanding of policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
* Team player with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet specifications and deadlines.
* Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a professional team.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to accurately complete necessary documentation.
* Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.
