Job Description
Electrical LV AP (Appointed Person) – Immediate Requirement
Location: Winchester
Rate: Up to £290-£320p/d
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical LV Authorised Person (AP) to join a critical project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the on-site Appointed Person, responsible for safe energisation of electrical systems
• Oversee and manage all electrical testing activities
• Review and sign off test results, conduct snagging, and run permit-to-work systems
• Plan and coordinate power-on procedures
• Manage and be accountable for third-party testers
• Provide progress reporting and support planning activities
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard
Essential Requirements:
• C&G 2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• First Aid at Work certification
• Own calibrated 18th Edition-compliant test equipment
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and regulatory compliance
• Solid IT and communication skills
