Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for an excellent opportunity and career with an International Company that produces rolled metal products, using state-of-the-art casting, rolling equipment? If yes, we want to hear from you! Annual Salary: £49,000 - OTE - £54000 Weekly Shifts: 4 on/off days and nights - 2 days/2 nights Company Benefits: Employer Contribution Pension Scheme Excellent working environment and team 23.5 Shifts Holiday per annum On and Offsite training Maintenance Technicians are required to support plant operations including but not limited to, Induction furnaces, Automated Casting, Milling, Rolling, Annealing, Pickling and Slitting lines, conveyors, pump systems, electric motors, contactors, relays, switches, sensors, solenoids, distribution boards, inverters, and overhead cranes. Main Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer: The ability to competently work both alone and within a team environment Attending plant breakdowns Partake in TPM/PPM activities Repair, maintain and improve plant equipment to a required standard Undertake occasional installation/continuous improvement projects as required Requirements of an Electrical Maintenance Technician: 3 Years of medium to heavy, industrial electrical experience preferred Competent in the use of PLC's (Siemens S5/7/TIA desired) to fault-find and troubleshoot on plant equipment Must have PLC experience and the ability to use associated tools for integration of the software. Must be time served, holding qualifications in Electrical Engineering. (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ Level 3) HNC and 17th/18th Edition desired but not essential Ability to read electrical and engineering drawings. Knowledge of working with AC & DC, single & 3 phase systems and inverter drives.
