Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Continental Shift (Days & Nights)
Location: Central London
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental (Days & Nights)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
🔧 The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team at a prestigious commercial site in Central London. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the building’s critical systems, with a primary focus on plant room equipment and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance across the site
*
Work on a variety of systems including lighting, emergency power, motors, pumps, BMS controls, and distribution boards
*
Monitor and maintain plant room equipment to ensure peak performance
*
Respond to breakdowns quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime
*
Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner
*
Liaise with contractors and other building services staff when required
✅ Requirements:
*
Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent
*
18th Edition wiring regulations (essential)
*
Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
*
Strong understanding of plant room systems and building services
*
Able to work a continental shift pattern (days & nights)
*
Good communication and problem-solving skillsBefore You Apply
