Job Description
Electrical Maintenance Supervisor | Southampton | Office Based | £40-43K + Employment Package.
Due to contract expansion, we are actively recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to be based in the company head office, based in Southampton.
The employer is a privately owned, hard services, commercial FM provider, with a total staff count of circa 200. As the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will work closely with a team of in-house Maintenance Electricians, providing technical support, over-seeing remedial works, ensuring full compliance and health and safety and liaising with clients.

* Role: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.
* Base Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum.
* Status: Permanent, PAYE.
* Location: Southampton, full time office based.
* Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30am - 5:00pm.
* Additional earnings available by joining the call out rota - escalations only via telephone.
* Pool vehicle available if you have any travel requirements / client meetings etc.
* Casual dress code in the offices.
* Holiday: 30 days (22 + bank holidays).
* Company funded training / up-skilling on offer.
Duties: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.
* Supervising remedial works orders following clients’ quote approval.
* Overseeing directly employed field electricians.
* Controlling day-to-day workload meeting clients contractual SLA’s & KPI’s.
* Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and authorisation of minor works certification.
* Develop working relationships with client key account and area managers.
* Provide technical support.
* Provide training to junior staff within the team.
* Attend client meetings when instructed by the Divisional Senior Manager – in which you will have access to a company pool vehicle.
Requirements:
* Must be a qualified Electrician to one of the following standards or equivalent: NVQ Level 3, C&G 236 Part 2, C&G 2330 Level 3 etc.
* Must be up to date with electrical regulations (C&G 18th edition).
* Must have strong knowledge of compliance, health and safety, SLAs, KPIs and associated paperwork within a commercial maintenance setting.
* Desired by not essential: City and Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection.
* Must have a full UK driving license with under 9 points as you will be on the fleet insurance.
* Ideally have experience within a Supervisory, Lead Engineer or Management position previously with similar duties to the above.
