Job Description
Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician with a keen eye for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance? We're looking for a motivated individual to join our clients team in Hoddesdon, supporting day-to-day plant operations and ensuring minimal downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Details:
Location - Hoddesdon
Pay - Up to £40,000
Contract - Temp to Perm, Full Time
Schedule - Monday to Friday
Pattern - Rotational Shift ( Early + Lates rotating )
Responsibilities
* Performing planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance
* Monitoring plant systems (including e-stop and fire systems)
* Fault-finding on electrical systems and PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens experience is a plus)
* Participating in equipment installations and removals
* Keeping maintenance records up to date using the Maintenance System
* Maintaining a clean and organized workshop
Requirements
* Apprenticeship-trained or time-served electrical technician
* Experience in electrical maintenance and installation
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge (desirable)
* Comfortable working at heights (MEWPs, ladders, etc.)
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
