Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Swansea
Salary: £37,000
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Mornings and Afternoons no weekends.

About the role:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, they will be looking for a hands-on and reliable individual. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving the production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns across plant equipment and site facilities.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) as per the maintenance schedule.
* Support the wider maintenance team in achieving operational and departmental goals.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain ongoing professional development.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed tasks.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults with a logical approach.
* Work closely with supervisors to maintain clear documentation and activity tracking.
* Suggest improvements to maintenance practices and contribute to equipment reliability and efficiency.
* Take part in improvement projects to optimize processes and equipment performance.
* Be flexible to work shifts (with applicable shift premiums) and overtime during busy periods.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Fully time-served electrician with a recognised trade qualification.
* Ideally educated to HNC level or equivalent in a related discipline.
* Proven fault-finding skills across both electrical and mechanical systems.
* Strong planning, and organizational skills.
* A resilient, proactive, and accountable individual who works well both independently and within a team.
