Electrical Supervisor - East Kilbride - Salary up to £41,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Testing & Inspection (T&I) Supervisor to join a dedicated facilities team based in East Kilbride. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to the Technical Services Manager, overseeing the daily operations of the electrical testing and inspection contract across the Northern region.
Ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance of systems at assigned sites, meeting health, safety, environmental, quality, and client service standards.
Supervise and conduct scheduled electrical testing and inspection activities, including but not limited to:
Emergency Lighting
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
Illumination Levels
Infra-Red Thermography
Motors
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
Static Discharge
Lightning Protection
Manage and perform repair works and equipment operations following best practices and relevant standards.
Ensure all third-party contractors adhere to site safety protocols and procedures during their work.
Work within Safe Systems of Work and site Permit to Work systems, ensuring robust controls are in place.
Deliver both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.Person Specification:
C&G or equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline
C&G 2391, or equivalent Testing & Inspection
18th Edition Electrical Qualification
CMMS (SAM FM) (Desirable)
HND/HNC Electrical Qualification (Desirable)
Valid Driving LicenseSalary & Benefits:
Base Salary: Up to £41,000
Annual Leave: 24 days plus public holidays.
