Location: Peterborough
Salary: £39,000 – £41,000 per year
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to join their growing team. Our client operates across the industrial and commercial sectors, delivering high-quality electrical installation and testing services.
About the Role:
You will be primarily responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) on existing premises, as well as testing installations completed on larger projects. Additionally, you may be required to support the installation teams when workload demands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrical testing engineer seeking a stable, long-term role with strong development prospects.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform EICRs and ensure compliance with current regulations.
*
Conduct testing and inspection of new and existing electrical installations.
*
Provide assistance to installation teams as needed.
*
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
*
Availability for occasional overtime work during evenings or weekends.
Essential Requirements:
*
18th Edition I.E.E. Wiring Regulations Certificate.
*
C&G 2391 or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing.
*
C&G NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
*
IPAF certification (required).
*
PASMA certification (preferred).
*
ECS Gold Card holder (preferred).
*
Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
*
Strong practical electrical engineering experience, ideally in industrial and commercial environments.
Package Includes:

Salary between £39,000 and £41,000, dependent on experience.

40-hour working week (Monday to Friday) with opportunities for overtime.
*
22 days holiday per year plus statutory bank holidays.
*
