Job Description
Example Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Approved Electrician to join our growing team, working across commercial and domestic maintenance projects in the Edinburgh area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company known for its fast, reliable, and professional service – guaranteeing call-out responses within the hour.
Key Details:
*
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm (8 hours per day)
*
Overtime: Available – time and a half applies
*
Call-Out Rota: Not currently in place but may be introduced in the future
*
Call-Out Pay: £25 per standby night + time and a half for call-outs
*
Vehicle & Tools: Company van provided with a basic toolkit (additional tools as required)
*

Responsibilities:
*
Carrying out maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems
*
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults
*
Ensuring all work is carried out to current regulations and high standards
*
Working independently and effectively managing your daily workload
*
Maintaining accurate records of work carried out
What We’re Looking For:
*
Fully qualified Approved Electrician
*
Strong background in maintenance and reactive works
*
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
*
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
*
Experience with sustainable energy systems is a bonus
*
Full UK driving licence
