Annual Salary Up to £48,000
8am to 4.30pm
A Fully expensed Vehicle and Fuel card provided.
Location: Multiple sites across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire
Reports to: Electrical Contracts Manager

My Client is locally owned and operated business based just 10 miles from Peterborough.They specialise in a wide range of electrical services including commercial installations and refurbishments, industrial maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Role Overview - Notes from the Client
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support both the Electrical and Facilities departments, carrying out installation works, attending callouts, and undertaking reactive maintenance tasks. This is a hands-on role that demands attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will come from a commercial or industrial background and hold a 2391 inspection & testing qualification or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform electrical installations and remedial works to current regulations and legislation.
* Undertake maintenance and refurbishment work across commercial and industrial environments.
* Complete inspection and testing of new and existing installations, producing appropriate certification.
* Accurately record work using both electronic and paper-based systems, including materials and labour usage.
* Attend and participate in training to remain compliant with industry standards and changes.
* Assist other trades when required and mentor apprentices.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults effectively.
* Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations.
Working Hours & Benefits
* Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
* Pension: Auto-enrolment into The People’s Pension
* Holidays: 20 days per year + Bank Holidays (increasing up to 25 days with long service)
* Vehicle: Fully expensed company vehicle and fuel provided
* Workwear & PPE: All provided
