The Company
Our client is a well-established electrical installation and sales company based in Manchester, specialising in energy reduction technologies for commercial and industrial businesses across the UK. As the demand for sustainable energy solutions grows, so does the need for passionate professionals to join this forward-thinking team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified, time-served electrician to step into a role at the forefront of the sustainable energy sector. Working initially alongside an experienced VO (Voltage Optimisation) Installation Engineer, you’ll receive comprehensive, industry-specific training and manufacturer-led instruction to become a specialist in this rapidly growing field.
Key Responsibilities:

Install Voltage Optimisation and Power Correction systems at commercial and industrial sites across the UK
*
Attend manufacturer and in-house training sessions to upskill in specialist technologies
*
Travel extensively, including overnight stays 1–2 nights per week
*
Operate independently or as part of a team on client sites
*
Collaborate remotely with the head office, with occasional visits to Manchester
What We’re Looking For
*
Fully qualified electrician with a Level 3 Electrotechnical Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
*
NICEIC Inspection and Testing certification
*
Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial or industrial environments
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Strong initiative, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn
*
Based in Greater Manchester (or surrounding areas)
*
Must be prepared to travel and stay away from home 1–2 nights per week
*
Right to work in the UK (no dependents or student visas)
*
VO/Power Correction experience is a bonus – but not required; full training provided
