Job Description
Electro-Mech Assembly / Test Operative
Up o £20 per hour.
Maidenhead.
Long term contract
Candidates must be British passport holders, not have any previous criminal convictions and they must have held SC clearance previously
As Production Test Engineer you will:
Test and fault find to component level, including environmental testing.
Work with the test team on a wide variety of products at PCB, Sub Assembly, General Assembly, and System Levels.
Electro-mech assembly
Conduct testing & record results accurately ensuring product meets the test schedule parameters prior to delivery.
Assist with the resolution of technical issues.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Test and fault find to component level, including environmental testing.
Work with the test team on a wide variety of products at PCB, Sub Assembly, General Assembly, and System Levels.
Conduct testing & record results accurately ensuring product meets the test schedule parameters prior to delivery.
Assist with the resolution of technical issues.
Experience of testing complex RF and digital PCB modules and microprocessor based equipment, ideally in a military/defence based organisation or similar environment.
Use of both bench test equipment and automated test equipment.
Be qualified to at least OND/ONC standard in Electronic engineering or equivalent.
Be able to communicate accurately on technical issues with internal customers both written and verbal.
Be computer literate.Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain SC level security clearance..
