Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an EW Systems Engineer to join a growing team focused on developing cutting-edge Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Weapon Systems.
This role performs the duties of EW Systems Engineer and reports to the Head of EW Capability.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Lead the design, integration, and validation of Electromagnetic Warfare capability within complex Weapon Systems.
*
Act as the EW requirements authority and system design lead for assigned EW programmes.
*
Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of fit-for-purpose EW solutions.
*
Contribute to threat analysis, modelling and simulation, and RF system design activities.
*
Support the development of system integration strategies across the engineering lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have:
*
Strong understanding of systems engineering methodologies, tools, and processes.
*
Experience in complex systems product development; prior exposure to Weapon Systems is ideal.
*
Demonstrated success in systems integration and full engineering lifecycle involvement.
*
Familiarity with Electromagnetic Countermeasures and Surveillance systems.
*
Experience in capability assessments and road-mapping.
*
Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS.
*
Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
*
Eligibility and willingness to undergo DV clearance.
