Assembly Technician (Electro-Mechanical)
Location: Sandwich
We are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team, specialising in the assembly of both simple and complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components. This role involves working with detailed engineering drawings, written and verbal instructions, and applying a high level of precision and quality at every stage of the build process.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components to a high standard, following engineering drawings and work instructions
Safely use a range of hand and bench tools, including torque drivers
Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers, both verbally and in writing
Attend training as required to maintain and develop skills
Participate in customer or supplier visits if required (a full driving licence and valid passport are necessary)Skills & Experience
Proven experience in assembling simple and complex mechanical/electro-mechanical parts
Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Confident using hand tools and applying adhesives (such as Loctite) where appropriate
High attention to quality throughout the build process
Computer literate (familiar with MS Office packages)
Experience working with ESD procedures is an advantage but not essential
Previous experience in a highly regulated industry (such as defence) is desirable but not requiredWhat We're Looking For
