Job Description

Qualifications and experience A degree or equivalent, in Electronic Engineering. Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electronic design. Proven experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming. Role and Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled Electronics Manager to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics for complex systems. The job involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronics architecture for our products. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions. The successful candidate will be able to: Work as part of a team to design and develop electronics hardware for new and existing products. Assist in the design of embedded systems that comprise both high speed analogue and digital electronics. Support the range of existing products with updates and enhancements. Carry out advanced fault finding of new PCB’s and systems. Fully document new designs with bill of materials, test procedures and other supporting documentation. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate software with hardware components. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for systems in production. Skills The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills: Demonstratable experience with Schematic/PCB layout, circuit design and development tools (ideally Altium, but not essential). Sound knowledge of analogue and digital hardware design. A minimum of 2 years’ experience of VHDL. Experience with electronics simulation tools. Experience of FPGA development tools. Embedded C programming. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Good communication skills; verbal and written. Highly motivated. Good collaborator
