Mainstay Recruitment is working with a leading private healthcare provider to recruit an Engineering Technician with an electrical bias, supporting operations across two hospital sites in Droitwich and Meriden.
This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits, working within a professional engineering team that plays a vital part in maintaining high-quality patient care environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical and general building maintenance tasks across both hospital sites
Complete planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive issues in a timely manner
Provide technical support for fault finding and breakdowns
Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks) to ensure 24/7 support is available
Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance at all times
Support colleagues and assist in maintaining a strong, collaborative team culture
Requirements:
Electrical bias with a valid ECS, JIB or CSCS card
Demonstrable experience in commercial maintenance environments
Full UK driving licence (essential, due to travel between sites)
Ability to pass a standard DBS check
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Good understanding of health and safety legislation, ACOPs, and building services
