Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher with a passion for language and literature?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a vibrant school in Middlesbrough. If you love helping students develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Your Role as an English Teacher:
Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Help students master reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills.
Encourage critical thinking by analysing texts and expressing ideas confidently.
Track student progress through assignments, assessments, and feedback.
Foster a love for literature by introducing students to a diverse range of books.
Adapt teaching strategies to support students of different abilities.
Create a positive and structured classroom environment that encourages learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum.
What We’re Looking For in an English Teacher:
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE, with a degree in English, Education, or a related field.
✔️ Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
✔️ Flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students.
✔️ A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young minds.
✔️ A team player who contributes to the school community.
✔️ An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
