Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English language and literature instruction to students, fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment, and helping students develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
* Teach English language skills including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing composition.
* Guide students in the study of literature, including novels, poetry, and plays.
* Create a classroom culture that encourages learning, critical thinking, and respectful discussion.
* Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and feedback.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
* QTS, QTLS or previous experience teaching English
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience teaching GSCE English Language and Literature
* Ability to integrate technology into the classroom.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Creative and flexible teaching approach.
* Strong knowledge of English grammar, literature, and composition.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
