Job Description
Milk Education are recruiting for a creative and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming Secondary School in Wakefield on a long-term basis starting this September.
This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced English Teachers and ECTs/NQTs to inspire young minds through literature, language, and critical thinking. If you're passionate about helping students find their voice and thrive in the classroom, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing as an English Teacher:
Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Preparing students for GCSE examinations with structured, impactful teaching
Creating a positive classroom culture that promotes creativity and independent thinking
Collaborating with the English department and contributing to whole-school literacy initiatives
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent) – ECTs and NQTs welcome to apply
Excellent subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
A passion for engaging learners and helping them develop strong reading and writing skills
Effective classroom management and the ability to build rapport with students
