Academics are currently working with a Secondary Academy in Thanet who seek to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic English Teacher with a strong commitment to securing the best possible outcomes for the students for whom we work. The successful candidate will:
be a qualified teacher (QTS or similar - PGCE, B.Ed)
have a strong commitment to teaching and learning in English
be an effective classroom practitioner committed to raising standards for all students
be able to teach English at Key Stages 3 and 4 and, if appropriate, in the Sixth Form
be fully committed to enabling all students to achieve well and make good progress
have the drive and determination to motivate colleagues and students
have a creative and energetic approach to teaching and management
possess good organisational skills
have the vision to develop the courses currently offered
