Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a highly regarded secondary school in the heart of Tower Hamlets, seeking a talented and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position, suitable for both Experienced Teachers and ECTs, and offers a competitive London MPS/UPS salary.
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate English Teacher who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 4 (GCSE). You will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching English at KS3 - GCSE
Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards
Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
Excellent classroom management skillsPerson Specification:
