Finegreen are recruiting for a senior EPR professional who has recent experience within the NHS.
Our client is looking to implement a new cross care setting, real time, patient centric Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system that will improve the quality and delivery of care to the patient. The new system Oracle Health Millennium will be implemented.
The EPR Cutover Manager is an important role, working in collaboration with the Oracle Health (Cerner) the Cutover Manager post will lead the development and execution of a detailed cutover plan, ensuring alignment with overall programme milestones and objectives. Collaborating closely with other Oracle Health representatives and the Trust’s implementation teams to design a cutover strategy tailored to the Millennium system.
The EPR Cutover Manager will lead the planning and execution of the cutover phase of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation. The postholder will ensure a seamless transition from legacy systems and paper-based processes to the new EPR, minimising disruption to clinical and operational services. They will collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and technical teams to design and deliver a robust cutover strategy, enabling the Trust to realise the full benefits of the EPR system.
The post holder will primarily be responsible for:
Leading the development and execution of a detailed cutover plan, ensuring alignment with overall programme milestones and objectives.
Collaborate closely with Oracle Health (Cerner) representatives and the Trust’s implementation teams to design a cutover strategy tailored to the Millennium system.
Manage the transition from legacy systems/paper to the new EPR system, ensuring all technical, operational, and clinical requirements are met.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with cutover activities to minimize disruption to services.
Manage Millennium-specific data migration and integration activities, ensuring alignment with Cerner’s best practices and tools.
Coordinate data migration activities in collaboration with technical leads, ensuring accuracy and integrity of transferred data.
Coordinate system readiness, including validation of data conversion, interfaces, and configurations within the Millennium platform.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Act as the primary liaison for all cutover activities, engaging with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops and briefings to prepare teams for cutover and address any concerns or queries.
Develop and implement a clear communication strategy to keep all stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and issues during the cutover phase.
Problem-Solving and Escalation:
Anticipate and address challenges during the cutover process, implementing contingency plans as required.
Act as the escalation point for cutover-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation to the Programme Manager where necessary.
Evaluation and Reporting:
Evaluate the success of cutover activities, capturing lessons learned to inform future phases of the programme.
Produce regular progress reports for the EPR Programme Board and other governance groups.
