Hours: Mon-Fri, 8-5 onsite (some flexibility with start times)

Join Balfour Beatty and help us build a sustainable future! We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Estimator to join our Asset Delivery team. This is a crucial role, and we're moving quickly to find the right person. Role Purpose
As an Estimator, you'll be instrumental in developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil portions of multi-disciplinary highway projects. You'll work collaboratively with a team of experienced professionals, supporting senior estimators in presenting and negotiating prices with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Develop estimates from first principles.
*
Review drawings and specifications to prepare costing sheets.
*
Analyze design options and identify cost-effective solutions.
*
Liaise with project teams and the supply chain.
*
Manage and support smaller bids to ensure timely and effective delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
*
M&E Tunneling Experience with an Infrastructure main contractor background is essential.
*
Proven experience in an estimating role within civils (Commercial or operational background considered).
*
Relevant industry chartership (ICE, CICES, RICS, CIOB, etc.) is desirable.
*
Experience with Candy Estimating Software (desirable but not essential).
*
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
*
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel).
