Construction - New Build & Refurb - Regional Main contractor

Successful Construction Company that continually strives to be at the forefront of their Industry in Northwest England. We are a regional main contractor working on projects ranging from £500K to £10M in value. Strong reputation across the North for delivering high quality work while providing value for clients.
About the role of Estimator
Due to the continued growth of the company, we are expanding our team and have a vacancy for an Estimator.
As the Estimator, you will be involved in the tender and pre-construction estimating team for the businesses upcoming new build and refurbishment projects across the Northwest of England.
Operating under a number of Framework Agreements carrying out Partnered Projects for the Public and Private Sector, principally focusing on the Education, NHS, Commercial and Leisure Sectors of the Industry.
Responsibilities for the Estimator role
Produce net estimates and costs plans for construction projects ranging from £0.5m to £10m.
Assess tender documentation, identify risks and opportunities.
Compile estimates using the Causeway Estimating System.
Liaise with Construction Professionals, Supply Chain and Contractor's Team.
Prepare documents for tender adjudication and subsequent tender submission.
Handover tender information to the Commercial Team.
Requirements for the Estimator role
Essential
Previous experience in Estimating for a Main contractor
Relevant experience in tendering for refurb and new build projects
Strong understanding of Construction methodsDesirable
HND or equivalent in commercial management or estimating
What we offer for the Estimator role
£55,000 - £65,000 p/a base Salary
£5000 car allowance
