The role of the Estimator – Mechanical Building Services will involve:
* Mechanical Estimator position dealing with a range of mechanical building service & maintenance contracts
* Receiving and reviewing enquiries from end users and facilities management companies
* Carrying out site surveys to gain a better understanding of project requirements
* Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to assist in preparing quotes and support in developing larger estimates
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices
* Presenting quotes to client and following project through to completion
* Build and develop client relationships to understand specific client needs and understand key drivers and discover future opportunities
* Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to £200k
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Mechanical Building Services experience with:
* Must have experience as a Mechanical Estimator, dealing with a range of HVAC products such as boilers, heat pumps, chillers and ancillaries
* Working knowledge of heating, domestic water, chilled water and basic gas in live environments
* Ideally will have a HNC in Building Services, however experience weighs heavier
* IT literate (Microsoft Office & Estimating software)
* High levels of attention to detail and organisation
* Full UK driving license
