Description
Analyse property and construction project requirements to estimate costs.
Prepare detailed cost budgets and cost estimates for new and existing projects.
Collaborate with the construction team to clarify details and specifications.
Review blueprints and product specifications to ensure accuracy.
Track project costs to ensure they align with the initial estimation.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure best prices and quality.
Conduct risk analysis for each project to minimise cost overruns.
Keep up-to-date with the latest construction methods and materials in the property industry.Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of the property industry and construction processes.
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
