Job Description
A fantastic opportunity awaits an Events Technician to support a dynamic team, in Munich based with a client at the forefront of connection Technology . This freelance role offers competitive rates based on your experience and the workload required, with flexible shifts provided on an intermittent rotation.
In this role, you'll be an integral part of a professional team, providing support for fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms, and impressive complex environments like auditoriums. Your role will extend beyond technical expertise, as you'll actively engage with clients, seamlessly becoming an extension of their onsite team.
Your responsibilities will encompass the operation and functional testing of all AV and integrated conference room components and equipment, ensuring a seamless and top-notch experience for their clients. Join us in creating memorable events in the heart of Paris!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Drive event support including set up and operation of AV equipment.
Evaluating the end user requirement's regarding all internal events
Setup and tear-down of all scheduled onsite meetings
Ensure all audio visual and media services are delivered to the business in a professional and efficient manner.
Offer support and assistance to clients both virtually and in person.
Provide business as usual support & training to internal and external clients.
Assist and support the client in the use of fixed and portable AV equipment.
Ensure all video conferencing requirements for the client are met in full.
Ensure all equipment on-site is maintained and kept in working order with all faults reported via the onsite procedures.
Liaising with remote offices in respect to the setup of video conferencing calls
The daily system checks to ensure equipment and room functionality.
Perform remote testing for local and regional offices
Carry out first line troubleshooting to AV equipment and rooms within time constraints.
Work closely with the help desk and field service engineers, where required.
Perform other AV-related tasks as directed by the client.
Working closely with various manufacturers to arrange and repair system equipment.
Maintain total confidentiality relating to information received for presentations and broadcasts etc.
Where required and the ensure support continues, follow daily handover processes.
Desirable Skills
Bi lingual - German and English will be required due to international work involved
Minimum of two years corporate experience
Knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and technologies
Knowledge in Event audio, video, and lighting equipment both digital and analogue
Ability to multitask and work under pressure to strict deadlines.
Remain client facing and calm under pressure at all times.
Have excellent communication, time management, presentation, and organisational skills.
Be enthusiastic and self-motivated.
Be able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels.
Ability to use own initiative appropriately.
Customer focused and strong ability to deal with individuals on all levels in a friendly, welcoming and helpful manner.
Candidates meeting the required criteria will need to provide evidence of European citizenship and be able to undergo a full background check due to the facilities in which the work will be located.
Pending successful on boarding full training will be provided which will take between 2 - 5 days depending on experience - training is compensated at agreed day rate.
